Criminal records that the state uses against you must contain ‘minimal information’.

During defendant’s Missouri DWI trial, the state used a prior Arkansas DWI conviction against him, whom was ultimately sentenced to 7 years as a ‘chronic offender’.  Defendant appealed because the Arkansas DWI record that the state produced did not identify the convicting Court.  The Missouri appellate Court agreed, stating that the Arkansas record the state used did not contain the ‘minimal information’ required.
