I never thought I’d be a person that tweets, but surprisingly, it’s a pretty neat service that I encourage everyone to use. Even if you don’t want to send messages, you can receive all sorts of valuable tweets from sources you select. For example, I follow KCcheckpoint to know where the cops are out and it’s great. People will tweet to KCcheckpoint when they see a checkpoint or a speed trap and then everyone that follows KCcheckpoint knows where to avoid. Other sources I follow are the Royals to keep up with our boys in blue, KC Scout for traffic updates, and the P&L district and other entertainment spots so I know where the party’s at. I even follow the Nelson-Atkins Museum so I can claim to be cultured…lol. I wish I had figured out this twitter stuff a lot sooner!
