Moving on…

The Law Practice of Michael A. Hustead d/b/a KCMO Defense is no longer accepting new clients.  I am moving on…

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right…to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.”  U.S. Constitution, Amendment VI

I’ve traded in my private practice and have became a public servant.   I did not dream of becoming a lawyer to chase money.  I am determined to be a modern day gladiator; to fight a seemingly all powerful government; to shield everyone under the Constitution without concern regarding their inability to pay.

I am excited to announce my recent start with the Missouri State Public Defenders.  MSPD provides legal representation to all indigent citizens accused of crimes in Missouri.  MSPD provides every client with a high quality, competent, ardent defense team at every stage of the process in which public defenders are necessary.  The team is led by a licensed Missouri attorney devoted full-time to the practice of criminal law.

I will continue to blog.  I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions and hope you enjoy reading them.
